Spots are very important on both snooker and pool tables as they offer protection to the cloth. In most clubs player don’t re spot balls properly and if a spot isn’t on a table there would be holes or divets in the cloth.
The proper way to re place a ball is to roll it onto the spot.
- to put on lick the back and place on the table and I usually find that ironing over the spot then makes it stick on a lot better than rolling a ball over it.
